Our Global Community
In 1999, ISPCAN launched the Partners Program, establishing affiliations with national child abuse and neglect prevention organizations around the world. The collaboration aims to further the common mission, goals and programs of ISPCAN and its Partners.
Regional Resource Centers
ISPCAN has established regional resource centers in four major regions of the world where we have partners to help us bring additional bandwidth to the regional needs and make information more accessible to our members in these areas.
Engage with ISPCAN members around the world! Please join the conversation in our forum section, with topics including general questions, event information, news, and professional engagement. Here, you can post questions or news about your own work or events, too!
Search our directory for members in your region and share ideas. Please complete your own member profile so our directory will be as complete as possible. You must be a member to access the ISPCAN directory.

Employment & Volunteer Opportunities
Protecting Children in Cyberspace: Research
Each year, ISPCAN identifies a cutting edge issue through its Thinking Space, and this year’s topic is no exception. With contributions from experts around the world, we will explore the topic of promoting child safety in Cyberspace.
This form of violence against children cuts across national borders, and requires both international and national efforts to keep children safe. To compile this work, ISPCAN seeks an experienced research analyst and scientific report writer. View the RFP or contact email@example.com if you or someone you know is interested.
Join a Working Group
There are four ISPCAN working groups: Child Rights and Youth Participation, Scientific Research, Data Collection on Child Maltreatment, and Child Death Review. If you are a CAN professional, please consider joining one of our working groups. Learn more about their work here.
We need volunteers to translate some publications and documents from English to Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, and Arabic. This opportunity is on a “as-needed” basis and the time commitment will depend on the size of the publication (typically not more than 12 pages). Languages not listed may also be needed from time to time. Contact us if this sounds like an opportunity you’re interested in and we will add you to our list!
College Internship Opportunities
We love working with both undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about children’s issues. We can customize the project to your specific areas of interest, such as public health research, policy work, health education, marketing or other related fields. If you are in the Denver area, or live near one of our regional resource centers, please consider our Internship Position : Application here>>
If you are interested in interning with ISPCAN, please review our current opportunity, and send us your application!
ISPCAN is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
Young People Advisory Council
We are looking for young people (ages 16-29) to serve as representatives on the Young People’s Advisory Council for ISPCAN. This group of young people will provide a strong voice of influence for the development of programs, website content, and strategic planning by leading experts in the field of child abuse and neglect prevention. Help us focus our efforts where you believe youth need it the most!
